The biannual Global Forum on TB Vaccines is an international gathering of researchers, product developers, pharmaceutical companies, government officials, advocates and other stakeholders interested and involved in the development of new, more effective TB vaccines. It is convened by the TB vaccine research community, under the auspices of the Stop TB Partnership Working Group on New TB Vaccines.
The main goals of the Global Forum are to:
- Review progress in the field and discuss strategies to continue to advance and sustain it.
- Share the latest data and findings on key issues in TB vaccine research.
- Stimulate discussion and debate about the path forward for this critical research.
- Promote partnerships and global collaboration amongst multiple stakeholders across sectors to accelerate and streamline TB vaccine research.
Planning for the 5th Global Forum on TB Vaccines, to take place in late 2017, is now underway. Details to be announced shortly.
